We are a small South African family run business who make delicious biltong, droewors and boerewors!

With us having grown up in Africa, we love biltong , droewors and boerewors and our family used to own a butchery , so we know what great biltong should taste like!

Because we are a small business all our products are freshly made every week with the best locally sourced beef from our local award winning butcher in Rugby , Joseph Morris.

We are so passionate about our products , we have tried and tested different cuts of meat and different flavours over the years and have now found the perfect combination for our biltong, droewors and boerewors.

If you are from Southern Africa, you will need no introduction to this delicacy which we were all brought up with and consider a staple food. However, for those of you who have not tried this product before – let me explain.

Biltong is cured, dried meat, mostly made from beef (game is also used). This technique of meat preservation has been used for centuries to keep meat unspoilt during long voyages. This technique was refined and eventually evolved into ‘biltong’, a word derived from the Dutch language and still used as an ideal snack when travelling. Biltong is low in fat and high in protein. An ideal post-workout snack or for banting or paleo diets.


How we make Biltong

We use carefully selected beef  from our famous butcher in Rugby where the meat is locally sourced British beef. The meat is cut into strips which are marinated in brown vinegar and sprinkled with a combination of spices. After marinating for a number of hours we hang the meat to dry.

How to store biltong

The best way to store biltong to keep it fresh and tasty is to keep it in a location where it is dry, and the air can circulate around it. Once opened, keep it in the brown bag and consume within 4 days.


Drywors or Droewors (dry sausage) as us South Africans call it, is a traditional and very popular ready-to-eat, high in protein, air dried, delicious beef snack.  Droewors is simply made by air drying the traditional Boerewors sausage, with a few alterations in spices and production.  We make our Droewors using carefully selected joints of meat which is the best quality from our famous local butcher.

We use our own unique variety of spices to make our version of the famous snack. Unlike other producers we only use 100% minced beef in our Droewors . It is then slowly air dried to perfection and packed in a protected atmosphere.



The Original Boerewors & the perfect Braai sausage. We make all our Boerewors from scratch. We have mastered the art of making sausages and our Boerewors will show this. We use 66% Beef and 33% Pork in our Boerewors. The perfect braai sausage for anytime and any occasion.

Boerewors literally translates as “Farmers Sausage” (English pronunciation “boo-ra-vors”).

Boerewors is made from coarsely minced beef , pork and spices .Like many other forms of sausage, boerewors contains a high proportion of fat, and is preserved with salt and vinegar, and packed in sausage casings. Traditional boerewors is usually formed into a continuous spiral and we sell it in that form (as illustrated). Boerewors is often served with pap which is a traditional South African porridge made from mielie-meal (maize meal) and covered with a tomato and onion sauce.
